Hey everyone! Smyff again! I wanted to update everyone on our latest show, which we played in Cape Girardeau.
The show took place at Spectrum Record Lounge—an atmospheric record store featuring an expansive selection of vinyl records, cassette tapes, CDs, and more, all set in a welcoming and clean environment with extra comfortable seating. There is also a bar in the back (with the coolest neon sign I've ever seen) for those 21+.
Owners Parker and Travis take pride in their business, always making sure that things run smooth both musically and professionally. They have been in business for a few years now and have built an exciting place for music.
The venue also offers live performances, showcasing talented bands and artists of many genres from local and beyond, which adds to the musical ambiance that Spectrum Record Lounge provides.
We arrived at Spectrum Record Lounge around six o'clock on Saturday evening, excited and ready to rock out! We were joined by talented bands Static Hour and StoKo.
Static Hour kicked things off, providing a great show mixed with a variety of covers and original music, followed by StoKo, who delivered an energetic and heavy performance featuring a plethora of original songs.
We closed out the night with our set, featuring a cover of Type O Negative's "Love You to Death" and a fan favorite from Sanity/Switch—"Breaking Down."
The audience was amazing, showing their passion for live music and the venue.
We had an EPIC time at this amazing venue with such talented bands! We love playing in Cape Girardeau and can't wait to return to Spectrum Record Lounge!
We will be announcing more shows as the warmer months roll in! Where do you want to see us play? Tell us on social media or through our Contact Us page!
Stay tuned and thanks for rocking out with Sanity/Switch!
